Hi, I'm Darryl. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy it.

My studio and my photography is a journey in progress. It started about 8 years agos when I got fed up with the limitations and quality of the point and shoot I owned and bought my first DSLR. Like a sponge I began absorbing every piece of photography info I could. I've explored many techniques and genres and over the years have had a lot of successes and a few failures, which I've used to grow into a top notch photographer. Lately, I've stopped thinking of myself as a photogapher, but instead, I am an artist who's tools of choice happens to be a camera and computer.

Currently, I am focusing my efforts on Art Portraits, or Portraiture as it is commonly call. My goal is not to just take your picture, but to make a one of a kind, unique piece of art that you can enjoy on your wall.

Outside photography I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 boys, playing chess and computer games, and listing to music, mostly Jazz, but I am an old school Prince fan too. I also am a foodie and will try my hand at some unusual dishes from time to time.
